3-Month Performance Protection Plan

Pricing: $69 on orders from $1,000-$3,000; $109 on orders over $3,000. 

Eligibility 

This Protection Plan is available only on qualifying Lovesac couch purchases with a sale price of $1,000 or greater. Coverage begins on the date of delivery or customer pickup and extends for six (3) months. 

What Is Covered – Inserts and Seating Components 

The plan covers the functional performance of Lovesac inserts, cushions, and seating components when used under normal residential conditions, including significant loss of structural support not attributable to normal use, broken internal support materials resulting in loss of intended function, and manufacturing or material defects that become apparent during the coverage period. We may repair, replace, recondition, or provide store credit for any covered component. 

What Is Covered – Covers 

The plan covers the functional condition and assembled appearance of the covers, including seam separation, zipper failure, fabric tearing not caused by misuse, pets, alterations, or improper cleaning, defects that prevent proper installation or normal use, and significant appearance defects visible after assembly that were not disclosed at the time of sale. We may repair, replace, recondition, or provide store credit for any covered cover. 

What Is Not Covered 

Washable or slight imperfections present & discussed at the time of sale; normal wear and tear; cosmetic changes resulting from ordinary use; minor stretching; pet damage; odors; burns; cuts; punctures; stains occurring after delivery; damage from moving or relocation; comfort preference dissatisfaction; improper assembly or modification. 

Cleaning-Related Exclusions 

Coverage is void for any cover washed, dried, cleaned, or treated contrary to Lovesac care instructions; shrunk due to improper washing or drying; damaged by bleach, detergents, chemicals, solvents, or cleaning products; altered, repaired, dyed, or modified by the customer or third party. 

Pre-Owned Furniture Disclosure 

All items covered under this plan are sold as pre-owned floor-model furniture. Minor signs of prior use, handling, cleaning, display, transportation, or age are expected and are not considered defects. Coverage applies only to new covered failures occurring during the protection period. 

Claims Process 

Claims must be reported within seven (7) days of discovery. Customer must provide the original invoice, photographs of the issue, and a description of the problem. We reserve the right to inspect any claimed component before approving coverage. 

Remedy 

For any approved claim, we may repair the affected component, replace the affected component with a comparable component, provide store credit equal to the current value of the affected component, or refund the original protection plan fee. Any of these remedies shall fully satisfy our obligations under this plan. 

Limitations 

Coverage is limited to one approved claim during the three-month protection period. Total liability under this plan shall not exceed the original purchase price of the furniture and may be subject to shipping charges.
